Research Areas:
RELOAD (Research Lab of ArchitectURban Design) is a think tank that develops research in the field of architectural, urban and landscape design, focusing on the production of scenarios for transforming today’s city and landscape, combining the topics of architecture, public space, infrastructure and cultural heritage.
RELOAD holds high quality architectural forms and spaces as inalienable rights for democracy, well-being, health and happiness, and deals with complex urban dynamics issues on the basis of open source knowledge, sharing ideas, optimization of resources and sustainability.

RELOAD works through a network of national and international  research centres and labs as well as of companies and stakeholders involved in studying and transforming the territory.
RELOAD develops theoretical issues and research by design, in the realm of architectural, urban and landscape  design, according to  different degrees of local, regional, national and international interest.
Research projects are fostered by means of public and private funding, obtained on the basis of competitive calls or bilateral agreements.
Research projects can be organized into four main themes: architecture, city and landscape, cultural heritage, univercity.
RELOAD works through a network of national and international  research centres and labs as well as of companies and stakeholders involved in studying and transforming the territory.
RELOAD is open to consider opportunities for building partnerships with research teams, public administrations, companies and stakeholders to develop research projects and/or to apply to national-international calls for project funding.
RELOAD favours research and technology transfer in order to produce positive impacts towards territory, world of production and civil society, through studies, consulting and activities for third parties.
RELOAD promotes, organizes and joins scientific debates, symposia, conferences and events for lifelong learning, education and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
RELOAD is open to consider opportunities for hosting and providing scientific support to visiting academics as well as supervision and tutorship to research fellows, PhD candidates, grant holders and master degree candidates, who desire to join its scientific activities or wish to forward and carry out projects that are consistent with RELOAD’s vision and research interests.
