The research of the Transportation Laboratory is addressed to the planning and management of transportation systems.
Our main research lines are the following:

- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Transportation system modelling and simulation
- Methods and models for evaluating transportation systems sustainability

- Analysis of factors affecting transportation system resilience against disruptive events

Among the tools used in research activities, the Transportation Laboratory has two driving simulators.
